2017 Baselworld: Gellner presents its jubilee ring WAVE – representing 50 years of pearls, jewelry and design made in Germany.
Pearls have always triggered imaginations and conquered hearts. This is also evident in the history of the Gellner jewelry manufacture. It is characterized by a love of premium cultured pearls and enthusiasm for their distinctive magic. For 50 years the goldsmiths at the company have produced jewelry of unusual design, skillfully incorporating shimmering cultured pearls.
One design icon from Gellner is the elegantly-flowing Wave ring. Its harmonious form is evocative of the moving surface of the sea, wrapping around the precious Tahiti cultured pearl.
The WAVE line has been a firm fixture of the Gellner range since 2008, with regular new additions. To mark the 50th birthday of the jewelry manufacture the original ring has now been brought back in a limited edition presented at 2017 Baselworld. Reflecting 50 years of jewelry design and passion for pearls. Because the Gellner name stands for handmade German jewelry in its finest form – and glittering appearances worldwide.

Gellner also introduced RendeZVous – long, distinctive and detailed silver chains with numerous colorful diamond briolettes skillfully accentuating the premium cultured pearls. Another highlight of this year’s novelties is the BOHÈME necklace. The detailed decoration with numerous, delicate diamond roses and finely- faceted diamond briolettes lends an air of colorful playfulness to the voluminous necklace.
The colorful Swing diamond rings are classic beauties – with an unusual detail: a small, mobile diamond glitters on a fine chain, lending new impetus to the solitaire. The entire Castaway line from Gellner masterfully combines the characteristics of different jewels: countless reflections from glittering diamonds intensify the gentle shimmer of hand-selected cultured pearls.
Various, distinctive color combinations make the playful Swing rings individual treasures. Classic and refreshingly vibrant at the same time.
